Joani Bye (2005)

Joani has been wowing audiences as a singer, musician and entertainer for many years, performing on television, radio, concert and theatre stages, and in nightclubs.  She has performed on stage with the likes of Sheena Easton, Del Shannon and Melissa Manchester. Also one of Vancouver's top studio singers, Joani has lent her powerful voice to albums by Cher, David Bowie, INXS and Jon Bon Jovi, to name a few. Joani is currently playing guitar and singing with two duos (Moodswings with Linda Kidder and ByeLines with Diane Lines), fronting her R&B band "Joani Bye and the Homewreckers," and touring with a cappella quartet The Euphorics. Also a songwriter, Joani co-wrote two of the songs on the Euphorics’ album Standing Up For Love, and performed two songs with co-writer Diane Lines on the children's TV series Tell-A-Tale Town.  Joani appeared in the Arts Club Theatre’s production of Tapestry, subbing for both Shari Ulrich and Sybil Thrasher. She also understudied Shari in Jupiter Productions’ hit musical revue Baby Boomer Blues, and took a starring role in her own right in Jupiter’s next production, A Mid-70’s Night’s Dream. With concert tours, school shows, club work, theatre, studio sessions, song-writing, and her 13-year-old daughter, Joani stays very busy as one of the West Coast's most in-demand female singers.
