A Note From the Producer - November 2008

Dear friends and fans of The Magic of Christmas,

I want to thank you all for your support of the show and the charitable causes it has benefited over the course of the past 20-plus years since I first started producing it in Winnipeg. This year, for only the third time in more than two decades, I have decided to take a hiatus...but only because I am involved in three *other* exciting and family-friendly Christmas shows this holiday season. In the absence of The Magic of Christmas 2008, I hope you will consider the events listed below when you are looking for Christmas-themed entertainment in the weeks to come!

SINFONIA FAMILY CHRISTMAS - MUSIC of the CARPENTERS

Monique Creber will be performing Christmas songs by The Carpenters with Sinfonia (Orchestra of the North Shore) and the Michael Creber Band, with backing vocals by Joani Bye, Janet Warren, Gord Maxwell, The CM Singers and the Mulgrave Community Choir. Sinfonia will also present their traditional Christmas repertoire, complete with audience sing-alongs, making the show an entire evening of holiday cheer!
